The speed is capped at 25 km/h to comply with EN15194.
The El Diablo adheres to EN15194 Australian e-bike standards, meaning you can ride it without registration or a license, just like a regular pushbike, under Australian law.
Vamos Bikes are classified as electrically power-assisted cycles, with a continuous rated power of 500 watts. The motor cuts off once the bike reaches 25 km/h, though the power output can be limited further if required by regulations. Throttle use is allowed only on private property and must be disabled for public riding.
Maximum speed: 25 km/h (up to 40 km/h when unlocked).

Top Speed Unlocked
Diablo arrives locked to a 25km/h speed limit. Change this setting via the LCD control panel on your handlebars anytime to unlock unlimited speed. Customise your ride and push your limits whenever you choose.
SHIMANO 8-Speed Gear Set
Diablo comes fitted with a Shimano 8-speed gear set. Going up and down the gears feels truly effortless, allowing you to easily adjust to different terrains and riding conditions.
Integrated Front & Rear Lights

- All products that are shipped are checked by the manufacturer and by Pedl mechanics however it is important that all bolts and screws on products are checked and tightened during assembly and before embarking on your first ride. This is the responsibility of the rider and Pedl will not be liable for any injury caused by improper assembly which includes misalignment and bolts not being checked for the correct tightness.

- Range and speed of this product will vary based on variables such as weight, terrain, degree of incline, wind, battery age, battery charge, speed reached and all other variables that would affect travel.

- Please note that while we ensure all our bikes are carefully assembled and inspected before shipment, some minor adjustments may still be required. It is not uncommon for gears to be slightly misaligned, brake discs to rub, mudguards to be misaligned, or other adjustments to be needed after assembly. These issues are typically due to the natural settling of components during shipping and are considered a normal part of the assembly process. As such, these adjustments are not covered under Pedl’s warranty.
For best performance, we recommend that you have your bike assembled or inspected by a professional bike technician.
