Aventure bikes have long been celebrated as exceptional electric bikes due to their affordability compared to other fat tire models. They have received accolades for their excellent construction, sturdy ride, impressive features, and high performance. The Aventure.2 Step Over follows suit, incorporating all the elements that have made Aventure a bestseller.
The Aventure.2 is equipped with the same 750W motor, Tektro hydraulic 180mm disc brakes, removable battery, thumb throttle, and five levels of pedal assist, as well as a similarly designed 6061 double-butted aluminum frame, all contributing to a stable, shake-free riding experience.
However, the Aventure.2 Step Over also introduces several new enhancements.
Highlighted Features
-
Torque Sensor: The Aventure.2 boasts a significant improvement with its new torque sensor. Unlike the cadence sensor found in the previous model, this technology adjusts motor power based on your pedaling effort, aligning with your natural riding style. This allows you to accelerate quickly when needed and decelerate smoothly at your discretion, resulting in a more responsive and controlled riding experience.
-
Increased 92km Range: The torque sensor effectively manages power consumption, enabling you to cover greater distances without draining the battery, even thouBacklit LCD Displaygh both models share the same battery.
- Built-in Rear Rack: The Aventure.2 Step Over includes an integrated rear rack that can hold up to 25kg, equivalent to five 5-liter water bottles or an average suitcase, setting it apart from many other electric bikes on the market.
-
Enhanced Indicators & Rear Lights: The original Aventure featured a single rear light on the left side, which was not suitable for Australian roads. The Aventure.2 Step Over now has rear lights that function as brake lights on both sides of the frame, along with two indicator lights that automatically turn off after 15 seconds, greatly improving safety on shared roadways.
-
Motor: The Aventure.2 Step Over retains the same 750W motor from its predecessor, offering a peak power output of 1100W. This enables riders to achieve speeds of 45 kph in the highest pedal assist mode and 30 kph when using the throttle alone.
Who Is the Aventure.2 For?
The Aventure.2 Step Over is a remarkably adaptable bike. Its fat 26” x 4” puncture-resistant tires offer excellent grip and stability on all types of terrain, including loose surfaces like sand and snow. Although its 35kg weight may make it less convenient for smaller riders in tight urban settings, it excels in a variety of other environments. It’s perfect for beach rides, navigating forest trails, and exploring off-the-beaten-path routes.
If you’re looking for a versatile fat tire electric bike that provides a natural, smooth ride tailored to your personal riding style, the Aventure.2 is ready for you.
